PUBLIC SECTOR
The Directors of BIG Solutions have been involved with the sharp end of lobbying and political campaigning for a number of years. Our colleagues bring a variety of competences and experiences to the table to enhance our overall capabilities.
High on the egenda for any public body is business engagement, whether for consultation or purchasing, but ultimately for developing a successful economical climate.

As business people who have established their credentials within the public
sector and are seen as business-leaders and spokesmen,
we have a long track record of developing business engagement.
Whatever you might read in the papers, those in positions
of power recognise the difference between
spin and positive ‘Evidence led’ presentation. Civil servants
will assess arguments on their merits, and politicians will want to see
straight lines supporting argument.
Our
approach is therefore to work
as a bridge, we deliver through EVIDENCE LED COMMUNICATIONS with
quantifiable reasoning.
OUR
APPROACH
- Comprehend the
drivers behind public sector operations coupled with an understanding
of how business thinks and is motivated
- Understand the
issues causing blockages
- Break down the
barriers and create an effective dialogue
- Create innovative
solutions to shape the future

| SMALL BUSINESS AMBASSADORS |
A major initiative developed from attending countless conferences and committees looking at skills and education, and deciding to get out there and do something.
The Small Business Ambassadors programme developed by us brings in the core representatives of the economy, small business people into the classroom.
It does it in a structured and supported methodology. Business people are taken through the process and prepared for the task.
Schools and colleges are consulted as to what exactly it is they seek to achieve for their curriculum approach and what is needed in their classrooms.
We have many items prepared in terms of delivery material and explanatory exercises, but schools are encouraged to mould these into the optimum format to suit themselves.
In the process we have met with countless educational staff, school inspectors, examination bodies, college and universities, youth workers, government agencies and local authorities.
In the process we have achieved very interesting milestones, such as the establishment of a commercial agreement with eight universities through their common Knowledge Transfer Centre, to distribute educational business games software into the schools.
In order to develop the project with a true community spirit and philosophy, we have established a Community Interest Company, EDUCATION for ENTERPRISE to manage the Smal Business Ambassadors programme.
